Tour Itinerary:3 Days Luxury Desert Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

Day 1 Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley​

Pick up at 7:00 AM from your hotel. We will cross the Tizi-N-Tichka pass through the high Atlas Mountains to go to “Ait Ben Haddou” the UNESCO world heritage site which is known as the shooting location for many Hollywood movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth”. The guide will guide you around the dried river and up the highest hill in the Kasbah for a fabulous breathtaking view. Afterwards, we will visit Ouarzazate, the gateway of Sahara, and then cross the valley of roses and Skoura palm grove to Dades gorges where you will gratify dinner and spend the night in a typical hotel in the middle of this magnificent location.

 

Day 2 Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)​

After having breakfast, we will depart at 8:00 AM and drive through the road of 1000 Kasbahs passing by some shapely Berber villages along the way to visit Tineghir which is known for its gorgeous palm grove. Then, we will continue to Todra Gorges where you will hike along 300 m high canyons. Thereafter, we will make our way to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga where you can have a swim in the swimming pool in hotel before riding camels, two hours in dunes, to go straight to the Desert camp where you will have dinner and spend the second night.

Day 3 Erg Chebbi - Tazarine - Agdez - Marrakech​

On the third day of 3 Day Luxury Desert Tour from Marrakech, you will awake before sunrise to catch the first rays, have breakfast in your camp, ride camels to subtend the driver and make our way to Marrakech by crossing Tazarine, the Draa valley, Agdez and Ouarzazate. On the way, we will take a break for lunch in one of local restaurants and then continue driving until we reach the red city.
